Câu Hỏi Thường Gặp

Do the questions in the app match the questions on the real DMV exam?

Our questions are based directly on the official state driver's manual and follow the same format, topics, and difficulty as the real DMV written test. Many questions are similar or identical in wording to what you'll see at the DMV, and we mirror the same passing score used by each state.

How many questions are on the DMV permit test?

It varies by state. California's permit test is 46 questions for under-18s and 36 for adults (need ~83% to pass). Texas is 30 questions (70% to pass). Florida is 50 questions (80% to pass). New York is 20 questions (70% to pass). Check your state's specific format on the official DMV website.

Which U.S. states does the app cover?

The app currently covers 14 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington. Each state has its own question bank built from that state's official driver's manual, so you always study the exact rules you'll be tested on. We're adding more states regularly — if your state isn't on the list yet, the general practice questions are still useful for studying core driving concepts.

What languages is the app available in?

The app is currently available in 11 languages: English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Korean, Chinese, Turkish, Portuguese, Uzbek, and Vietnamese. You can change the language anytime from the app's settings. Most U.S. states offer the written DMV test in English, Spanish, and several other languages — but availability varies state by state. If your state doesn't offer the test in your language, you can still use the DMV Help app in English to prepare. That way you'll learn the rules of the road and at the same time pick up the English vocabulary you'll need for the written test and for the road test, which is always conducted in English.

Is the app free? How do I get access to all tests?

DMV Help has a free tier that lets you try practice questions and basic features. A paid subscription unlocks the full question bank, all states, all practice modes, and removes ads. Subscriptions are available monthly, yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
